Hirwa is a Rwandan educator, entrepreneur, creative professional, and youth advocate committed to empowering young people through education, skills development, entrepreneurship, and community engagement.
He demonstrated strong academic performance throughout his early education before pursuing secondary studies, including Teacher Training College (TTC). He later specialized in IT, Graphic Design, Branding, Visual Communication, and Entrepreneurship, with a passion for innovation and community development.
Hirwa has served as an Educator and as a Primary Six National Examination Marker Since 2022, contributing to Rwanda’s education system while gaining valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges facing young people.
In 2020, he founded Hiro Brand, a creative enterprise providing branding and communication solutions to institutions, organizations, and businesses across Rwanda. In 2024, he established Hiro Foundation, a youth-focused initiative dedicated to supporting talented students facing educational challenges through mentorship, educational support, and opportunity creation.
He has participated in several leadership and entrepreneurship development programs, including:
- Youth Connekt Awards 2021&2022,
- Youth Connekt Africa Summit – Rwanda,
- Youth Café dialogues organized by the Ministry of Youth and Arts (2X),
- World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) Intellectual Property Program,
- Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF)–UNDP AGUKA Program,
- African Management Institute (AMI) business growth programs.

Driven by a passion for service and youth empowerment, Hirwa believes in leadership that listens, represents, and creates opportunities. His vision is to help build a generation of skilled, innovative, and engaged young people who contribute meaningfully to the development of their communities and Rwanda as a whole.
