II. Governance
Hiro Foundation is managed by a Board of Directors responsible for strategic decisions, compliance, and oversight.
Day to day operations are led by an Executive Director supported by staff and volunteers.
- All decision making prioritizes the best interests of beneficiaries and the long-term sustainability of the Foundation.
III. Program Delivery
Selection of Beneficiaries: Beneficiaries are chosen through a transparent process that considers academic performance, personal potential, and socio-economic circumstances.
Impact Measurement: We regularly monitor and evaluate programs to ensure effectiveness.
Safeguarding: We are committed to child protection and safe environments for all beneficiaries.
IV. Privacy
Hiro Foundation respects the privacy and dignity of all beneficiaries, particularly children. Our image and personal information use policy includes:
Consent Requirement: No photograph, video, or personal story of a beneficiary will be used without informed written consent from the individual (if over 18) or their parent/legal guardian (if under 18).
Purpose Limitation: Images are used only for purposes that align with our mission such as Projects' oriented events, annual reports, newsletters, or awareness materials.
Non-Exploitation: We will never use images in ways that exploit, shame, or misrepresent beneficiaries.
Data Protection: We Prohibit publishing personal information (full names, addresses, school locations) alongside photographs unless strictly necessary and with explicit consent.
Withdrawal of Consent: A beneficiary or guardian may request the removal of their image or story from our platforms at any time, and we will honor this promptly.
V. Code of Conduct
All staff, volunteers, and partners are expected to:
Treat everyone with dignity, respect, and fairness.
Avoid discrimination, harassment, exploitation, or abuse.
Maintain honesty in financial and operational matters.
Declare and avoid conflicts of interest.
VI. Financial Transparency
All funds are used solely for purposes aligned with our mission.
Annual budgets and financial statements are reviewed by the Board and audited by an independent firm.
Donors receive reports on how their contributions are used.
VII. Communication & Branding
Only authorized representatives may speak on behalf of Hiro Foundation.
The Foundation’s name, logo, seals and materials must be used in accordance with our brand guidelines.
We commit to honest, respectful, and mission-focused communication.
VIII. Partnerships
Partnerships are based on shared values and mutual respect.
All agreements are documented in writing and specify roles, responsibilities, and accountability measures.
