At Hiro Foundation Rwanda, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, dream, and shape a better future regardless of their financial background. As part of our ongoing mission to empower talented youth through education, we are pleased to announce the Student Selection – Phase II for the 2025 – 2026 academic year.
This phase focuses on identifying and supporting 36 vulnerable yet high performing students who show great potential but face financial barriers to continuing their studies.
Purpose of the Program
The Hiro Foundation Student Support Program is designed to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity. Through direct collaboration with schools, we identify learners who excel academically but lack the resources to sustain their education.
By working hand-in-hand with school administrators and education officers, we ensure that each nominated child is genuinely in need and capable of making the most of the support offered.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this opportunity, nominated students must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Excellence: Ranked among the top 5 performers in their class during the most recent or previous two school terms.
- Education Level: Currently enrolled in Upper Primary.
- No Existing Sponsorship: Must not be receiving support from any other organization or program.
- Financial Hardship: Must demonstrate clear financial challenges, such as lack of school materials, uniforms, meals, or school fees.
- Commitment to Learning: Must show a strong willingness to study and continue their education.
How to Register
The application process is conducted through schools.
- Each school administrator or education officer may complete two form per child (one for online & 1 for offline) using the official registration forms which are also found in Library.
- Please ensure that all submitted information is accurate and verifiable to facilitate a fair selection process.
